  • Leah Wall (BA Politics and International Relations) worked at Respect, analysing case records from the Respect Phoneline and Men’s Advice Line using quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Daniel Galloway (BA Modern History and Politics) worked at IPPR North on the State of the North 2025 report.
  • Ziyi Yang (BA Sociology and Data Analytics) joined the Economy and Environment team at the IPPR and supported their Green Industry Strategy.
  • Ella Parr (BA Criminology) completed her internship at the HMPPS in the Creating Future Opportunities department, assessing the link between prisoner wellbeing and a calmer prison environment.
  • Iris Potter Williams (BA Sociology) interned at the HMPPS and investigated the relationship between programme activity and rehabilitative journeys.
  • Simrin Rahman (BA Politics, Philosophy and Economics) joined the Centre for Local Economic Strategies and explored bridging data and policy for transformation.
  • Illiyyin Aufa Syahrizal (BA Politics and International Relations) interned in the EDI Directorate at The University of Manchester as a data analyst.
  • Lily Baker (BASS) worked at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority as a data research fellow and collaborated in the local Police and Crime Plan.
  • Atticus Morley (BA Politics, Philosophy and Economics) was a research intern at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and contributed to their analysis on local trends in further education provision.
  • Xinran Han (BA Sociology) explored the impact of SHiFT during her time in the Research and Evaluation team.
  • Xuanzi Zhao (BA Linguistics) joined the Department for Education and collaborated on early years policy analysis.
  • Ellen Gallagher (BA Anthropology and Sociology) aided the development of a free to access data resource at the GMPA.
  • Cassandra Papp (BA Linguistics) completed her internship at the Ditchley Foundation and researched bridging divides with graph networks.
  • Jaya Dosanji (BA Economics) and Abigail Denner (BA Politics, Philosophy and Economics) joined Girls in Data and analysed the impact of their data related Inspiration Sessions on young girls.
  • Amber Freeman (BA Criminology) was a Data for Justice fellow at New York University and assessed racial bias in traffic stops.
  • Xingyou Yi (BA Sociology) joined the Performance, Research and Intelligence team at MCC and worked in population segmentation to help understand the demand for public services.
  • Tharani Ponnamperuma (BA Economics and Data Analytics) interned at the Manchester City Council and collaborated in the development of a city-wide index.
  • Ian Wong (BA Sociology and Data Analytics) and Chloe Little (BA Economics and Politics) interned at MCC and worked in understanding strategic development opportunities for Technology-Enabled Care.
  • Anna Ward (BA Politics and International Relations) interned at the NHS Foundation and examined the role of intersectionality in mental health inequalities.
  • Eleanor Eyles (BA Modern History and Politics) researched the UK graduate premium during her time at the Northern Powerhouse Partnership.
  • Emily Bennett (BA Politics, Philosophy and Economics) worked at CivED CIC, analysing youth flight in Southport to approach regional inequality and economic diversification.
