  • Aleksandr Mednikov (BA Politics, Philosophy and Economics) interned at Greater Manchester Poverty Action on their anti-poverty programmes internship.
  • Alice Eddyshaw (BA Linguistics and German) worked as a diversity, equity, and inclusion data analyst at the data consultancy FDM.
  • Balint Lukacs (BA Politics, Philosophy and Economics) worked with the Centre for Local Economic Strategies to progress people-centred approaches to redesigning local economies.
  • Benedicte Bolingo (BSocSc Politics and International Relations) worked as a diversity, equity, and inclusion data analyst at the data consultancy FDM.
  • Chloe Jeffery (BASS Sociology and Criminology) completed her data fellowship with GM4Women and completed strategic mapping across Greater Manchester to improve women and girls lives.

  • Hana Alwakeel (BA Politics, Philosophy and Economics) completed her internship at Manchester City Council and created a framework for measuring resilience within Manchester communities.

  • Joshua Mitchell (BSocSc Politics and International Relations)  was an intern at the Northen Powerhouse Partnership and explored road pricing in England.
  • Jude McNab (BA Criminology) investigated domestic abuse trends cross England, Wales, and Scotland during his internship at Respect.
  • Katie Gummer (BA Politics, Philosophy and Economics) assisted the Office for National Statistics on a project exploring the UK’s sustainable development goals.
  • Laim Jeong (BA Criminology) worked in the department for education on a project exploring why school-based provider staff are paid more than group-based provider staff.
  • Minji Kim (BSocSc Sociology) was a member of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion team at the University of Manchester for her internship and explored the use of intersectional analysis for EDI interventions.
